What is the Chakra System?

The Chakra System refers to energy centers that are located within your energetic body. The most widespread definition of the Chakra System (such as that used in Reiki) contains 7 energy centers that can be generally mapped to areas of your physical body.

There are additional 5+ Chakras that are recognized in a more expansive definition that are located in the energetic field beyond the physical body.

The Chakras spin in either clockwise or counter-clockwise directions and work together like a series of gears to maintain a natural flow of energy in and around the physical body.

When a gear gets stuck or is turning too slowly or too quickly, the entire flow of energy is impacted. Reiki energy works like lubrication to keep these gears spinning effortlessly.

Receiving Reiki regularly is an excellent form of preventative maintenance for your energetic and spiritual health - much like performing regular oil and fluid changes in your car!
